Finalistes a Mollerussa.
L’Aleví “A” del RCD Espanyol va disputar aquest passat dissabte la segona edició del Torneig “Ciutat de Mollerussa, Memorial Joan Miró” (en record del que va ser president del Mollerussa). En el torneig hi van prendre part 16 equips catalans i aragonesos.
L’Espanyol va arribar a la final on no va pogué superar al Barcelona en un disputat partit que va finalitzar 2-4 en favor del conjunt culer. El jugador espanyolista, Adrián Bernabé va ser escollit com a integrant de l’alineació ideal del torneig.
A la primera fase, l’Espanyol va superar a la Pobla de Mafumet per 13-0, a l’EF Cervera per 4-0 i al CFJ Mollerussa “B” per 0-6.
En semifinals, el RCD Espanyol va derrotar al CFJ Mollerussa “A” per 1-4, mentre que el FC Barcelona va vèncer 2-0 al Real Zaragoza. Els aragonesos van ser tercers guanyant la consolació als del Pla de l’Urgell per 1-0. La final tal com hem esmentat, es va decantar del cantó barcelonista, sent l’Espanyol finalista del torneig.

A l’endemà diumenge pel matí, el conjunt de Carles Martínez Novell va disputar un amistós als Mpal. Germans Gonzalvo de Mollet, guanyant al conjunt vallesà per 0-8.
Dissabte a les 10:00 al Mpal. de Can Torelló, Gavà, inicien el campionat de lliga de Primera Divisió Aleví, grup primer, enfrontant-se a l’Escola de Futbol Gavà.
